St James Church is a key focal point for people in the community and many are choosing to get married within the church.

Marrying in church has never been easier thanks to a change in the law which means you now have more churches to choose from.
For such a special day, we offer a special place. All you need to help you plan a personal, meaningful, spiritual and beautiful church wedding can be found on the Church of England web site: www.yourchurchwedding.org

Baptisms too are a time of great joy and celebration for all and the church font just inside the main entrance has seen countless people being baptised into the church community.
Services of Dedication or Thanksgiving can also be arranged.
Funerals are a sad time but our caring and supportive team are always happy to talk over your needs should you wish to hold a funeral service at St James.
The funeral service of the Church of England can be very short and quiet with only a few members of the family present or an occasion of great solemnity with music, hymns and a packed church.
The words and actions of a church funeral speak of a loving God and the preciousness to Him of every human being.
Weddings, Funerals and Baptisms can be arranged by attending Church on Sunday 10-11am or at the Church Office hour every Monday from 7-8pm and during Youth Club on Thursday from 7 -8:30pm.
